A chart is a starting point. Different models and materials fit differently. “At Tonnau” means listed in the shop’s catalogue when checked, not live availability in your size.
A FEW MINUTES. A BETTER FIT.
Measure twice.
Surf happy.
Measure over light clothing with a soft tape. Keep it level, close to the body and comfortably snug. A second pair of hands helps.

Stand barefoot against a wall on a flat floor. Look ahead, mark the top of your head with a level book, then measure from floor to mark.
02 Chest, waist & hips +
Chest or bust: measure around the fullest point, under your arms. Waist: use the natural narrowest point between your ribs and hips. Hips: measure around the widest part of your seat with feet together. Breathe normally and don’t pull the tape tight.
03 Get your inside leg +
Measure from the top of your inner leg at the crotch down to your ankle bone. Keep your legs straight. Brands can define leg length differently, so check the linked chart before buying.
04 Using the printable tape +
Print on A4 at Actual size / 100%. Turn off “Fit to page”. Check the 50 mm reference line against a trusted ruler. Cut the eight strips and join them in number order: align each strip’s ending centimetre line with the next strip’s matching JOIN line. Overlap the tabs; don’t leave gaps. Tape securely without stretching. Use string and a verified ruler for measurements longer than 160 cm.
05 What should a good fit feel like? +
A wetsuit should feel snug without restricting breathing or movement. Raise your arms and squat: you should move comfortably. Look for close seals at the neck, wrists and ankles, without bunching behind your knees or lower back. Ask the crew if your measurements fall across several sizes.
